As long as these episodes aren't happening every other page and drawn out to exaggeration then I think she can have a moment or two. Plus, even great people have those moments. She has only been independent a few months. I know some will feel like she wobbles with her confidence, but we should remember she is young. Even Auroara who has moments of self doubt is not someone that is taken lightly. ![]() ![]() Other than the Locke Queen, every other female is powerful, self sufficient, and head strong. Another thing I love is that there is an above average number of strong female characters. New characters are introduced and secret plots are discovered. Yhe main character, Roar, learned more about her powers, returns to Pavan, assists with the rebellion, and finally comes face to face with both of her main enemies. Nothing usually happens of great importance. The second books of most trilogies are sometimes limited to information that only sets up the final installment. It had been over a year since I listened and it helped me to remember the small things before moving on to the next installment. The day before I started this book I went back and listened to the last five chapters of ROAR. I would suggest reviewing the first book if it has been awhile for you. Things happen in this book, important things that can't be skipped. I literally just listened to the last words and I feel so excited for Auroara. ![]() |
